Our successful kids…

A few months back, a group of folks who had come together from all over the world to learn more about this Internet thing. We all wanted to know how we could utilize the Internet as a tool to accomplish our individual goals.

Some of us wanted to make money.

Some wanted to help others.

Some wanted to be part of something.

Some didn't have a clue.

Two of the group stumbled into common areas of interest and struck up friendship based on those interests. They both had built and cruised sailboats across oceans.

As they talked about boats and oceans, they realized they had other compelling interests - kids.

Both had waited until later in life to begin families, both home-schooled their children and both were very interested in teaching their kids how to be entrepreneurs.

So - supersuccessfulkids was born. (In the complete sense of fairness, one had the idea and the other jumped on it!)

Our idea is to create a place to help parents and kids share their experiences, challenges and successes to enable others to learn the tricks and tips to help all the kids become successful.

Success is my gig. But I come at it from a little different perspective than most. I believe success is an individual accomplishment and as such has to be defined very clearly by the individual.

Which means that one person's success is not necessarily another's. And in fact rarely is this so.

However this is not the way we are taught by 'society'.

I hope to teach it here.
